On February 15th, for the Lanterns Festival (last day of the Chinese New Year) we went to the city of Monterey Park, home to a much more impressive asian community than Chinatown. Note the tiny ferris wheel and its tiny toddlers.

Honnestly, it should be called 'Junkfest'. The dragon parade was manned by youngsters who could care less, so all you could do was buy stuff or buy food.

Interestingly unsettling.

I liked the hair.

Chinese Karaoke: Unlike Japanese or western karaoke, the singers do not sing pop tunes but traditional songs.
